Cobi has called Colorado home since the age of two, and the active, outdoor lifestyle has shaped both who she is and how she practices. She has been involved in competitive athletics since the age of five and deeply understands the drive to return to meaningful movement after injury, pain, or physical setbacks. That lived experience fuels both her personal commitment to recovery and her professional passion for helping others move forward—physically, mentally, and nutritionally.
Cobi brings over 25 years of multidisciplinary experience in medical massage and allied health disciplines, supported by an evolving background in nutrition, rehabilitative exercise, and biomechanically informed techniques. Her approach is intentionally open-ended and client-centered, allowing her to adapt strategies and tools to support a wide range of goals—from performance optimization to long-term recovery.
In her bodywork practice, peak performance and functional resilience remain central, whether working with athletes or individuals navigating orthopedic challenges related to musculoskeletal trauma, sports injury, or degenerative conditions. Cobis background includes a BA in Human Performance and Sport (Athletic Training), experience with novice, professional, competitive, and Division I collegiate athletes, and extensive advanced training in innovative exercise and massage methodologies—all designed to support restoration, confidence, and sustainable movement.
She currently serves as the Government Relations Chair for the CO-AMTA and have been an active board volunteer for many years. Cobi has a deep value for advocacy, collaboration, and thoughtful leadership, and is proud to support the association’s mission and the profession as a whole.
I volunteer as AMTA Colorado President because this position gives me the opportunity to give back to the Colorado Chapter and build my organizational, leadership and communication skills. I want to see the chapter succeed. I enjoy my career as a massage therapist, and I would like to continue to promote massage therapy to other massage therapists and to prospective therapists. I also wish to promote further education for all massage therapists.
I want the AMTA-CO Chapter to continue to be member-oriented. My vision is to work together as a board and get to know the members. Collaboration is important to me. I believe massage therapists can learn from one another.
I have been a part of the board in some capacity since 2010. My AMTA volunteer experience includes Election Coordinator (2010), Delegate (2011-13), Education Director (2012-16), Financial Administrator (2016-2020, President (2020-2022), Board Member-Memberships (2024), and member of Community Service Massage Team along with Government Relations.
