AMTA Colorado – Annual Chapter Elections

Every year the AMTA Colorado Chapter elects a new set of Board Members and Delegates to its Board of Directors.  This year, we have four positions up for election.

Open Positions for 2026 - Last updated January 18, 2026:

Important deadlines for Election Year 2026:

February 25, 2026: Begin accepting applications for open positions.

March 27, 2026: Final due date for applicants who wish to run for office.

April 9, 2026: Election opens and ballots are sent to AMTA Professional and Graduate members.

April 21, 2026: Election closes.  Ballots are tabulated.

April 24, 2026: Announce election results at the AMTA Colorado Chapter’s Annual Meeting in Denver Tech Center, Colorado.

We notify all current members through our Eblast Newsletter and on our social media pages when we begin accepting applications for those positions around February 2026. You can expect to see reminders in the AMTA Colorado Eblast Newsletter during the month of March & April. Anyone interested in applying for any open positions must submit a completed application to our Chapter Online Election Coordinator (OEC), by emailing elections@amtacolorado.com.  Completed applications should be emailed and should be received by the Chapter OEC no later than 14 business days before we begin online voting.  Online voting will generally occur from the mid/end of March to the mid/end of April, and the New Members are announced at our Annual Meeting every April or May, see below for exact dates.

To receive the AMTA Colorado Chapter Board Candidate Application please contact our Chapter Online Election Coordinator (OEC), by emailing elections@amtacolorado.com.  Instructions for completing the form are clearly outlined in the form.  The election results will be announced at the AMTA Colorado Chapter Annual Meeting.
